Nattaporn Kositniwat

Bangkok · AI Basics

I had tried online AI courses before but always ended up confused after the first few weeks. At Samong the pace was different — slower at first, which I initially thought might be too slow, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed to actually understand what was happening. The practice notebooks were really useful.

Wiphat Phromchan

Chiang Mai · Practical ML

The Practical ML course was a big step up from what I expected, in a good way. Working with real datasets rather than toy examples made the exercises feel relevant. My mentor was genuinely helpful — I submitted a model that had a clear problem and the feedback I got back was direct and useful. One thing I would mention: the schedule requires real consistency, so this is not something to start if you are going to be very busy.

Siriporn Sukhum

Bangkok · Full AI Track

I completed the Full AI Development Track over about four months. The one-to-one sessions with my mentor were the part I found most valuable — having someone actually look at my code and explain what could be improved in context is something you just cannot replicate from a video. The portfolio project I finished is something I am actually using now.

Khon Kaen · AI Basics

I was a bit nervous starting because I had no coding background at all. The AI Basics course introduces Python alongside the AI concepts, which made it less intimidating. I did find some weeks harder than others but there was no pressure to race through. Would recommend for anyone coming from a completely non-technical background who wants to understand what AI actually is.

Panu Limthaworn

Pattaya · Practical ML

Solid course. The structure is clear and the material moves at a sensible pace. I particularly appreciated the section on model evaluation — this is something that often gets glossed over in other resources but Samong spent real time on it. The group discussion sessions were helpful too, mostly for seeing how others approached the same problems differently.

Mananya Ratchawong

Bangkok · Full AI Track

The deployment and monitoring section in the Full Track covered things I had not seen covered anywhere at this level of practical detail. Getting a model working in a notebook is one thing; understanding how to keep it working in a real environment is something else. That section alone was worth a lot to me. The mentorship sessions helped me shape my project into something coherent.

From Where They Started to Where They Got To

AI Basics · 8 Weeks

Nattaporn's First Step

Challenge

Nattaporn worked in marketing and wanted to understand AI tools she was seeing referenced constantly in her industry. She had no programming background and was not sure whether AI development courses were aimed at people like her.

What She Did

She joined AI Basics, which introduces Python alongside core AI concepts. Her mentor helped her understand where she was finding things unclear and pointed her toward the right exercises to reinforce each idea.

Where She Got To

By the end of the eight weeks, she had completed a small working classification project and was able to describe how a basic ML pipeline works — something she had not expected to reach in that timeframe.

"I did not expect to actually build something that works. That was a nice surprise."

Wiphat's Portfolio Project

Challenge

Wiphat had completed several self-paced platforms and felt he understood concepts in isolation but could not connect them into a working project. He wanted something with more structure and feedback.

What He Did

He enrolled in Practical ML. The portfolio project ran throughout the course and his mentor reviewed both the code and the modelling decisions he made. The group sessions helped him see alternative approaches he had not considered.

Where He Got To

He finished with a working model, documentation, and an understanding of why his design choices mattered — not just that they produced a certain accuracy score.

"Having a real mentor look at my code and give me specific comments changed how I thought about the whole thing."

Siriporn's Complete System

Challenge

Siriporn had Python experience and had built small models before but had never deployed anything. She wanted to understand the full picture — from training through to something that could run as an actual application.

What She Did

The Full AI Development Track took her through deployment, API building, monitoring, and responsible AI considerations. Her one-to-one sessions helped her plan a project that was appropriately scoped for the time available.

Where She Got To

She completed a deployed AI application that she has continued developing since the course ended. She described the project as the first thing she had built that she felt genuinely confident explaining to others.

"The portfolio project I finished is something I am actually using now."
